One US open wheel series, about time

While I have never liked Tony George for creating the IRL and splitting the US open wheel racing teams, I have enjoyed the close competition of his series in the last few years.
The Champ car series was not worth watching lately. I would watch a couple of races each year because of the tracks they were on, Cleveland and Laguna Seca are two examples.
It looks like it is all coming back together, finally. I guess Tony George gets the credit for this one, but I still don’t like him. He created the mess in the first place.
